Braised Duck with Mixed Vegetables

Preparation Steps

  • 1Brush dark soy sauce over duck. Marinade for 10 minutes.
  • 2Heat vegetable oil in frying pan, shallow fry duck till skin is golden brown. Rinse out oil and put in a pot. Add the rest of seasoning mix, star anise and ginger slices. Bring to a simmer and braise for 90 minutes. remove duck from the pot. Cut before serving. Place duck on a serving dish lined with bok choy.
  • 3Put remining ingredients in the pot and braise for 10 minutes in remaining sauce. Add in thickener and stir well. Pour sauce and ingredients over the duck. Serve hot with Dragon Jasmine Rice.
